First off, does anyone know why PTC stopped making coasters? Second, do you think they will make coasters again? PTC coasters seemed to be very populat when they were built.

I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
No, I don't think that they will ever do anything building/coasters related except for re-building cars and trains. No, I do not know why they stopped, maybe money problems.
They stoped building Coasters because they didn't want to compete with there coustomers.
PTC stopped building coasters when John Allen retired. He was the last designer they had. Since his retirement the company was sold (the Skeeball division is now a seperate company). From what I understand PTC feels that there is more than enough coaster designers and builders in the marketplace right now. They are content with supplying and referbishing rolling stock . They are also considering putting the Cuddle-Up back in production as well as producing the parts that are unique to PTC built carousels.
