I personally think that steel phantom was the best coaster ever and cannot be bear. It combines the quallities of many coasters for maximum enjoyment. AND COASTERS ARE SOPPOSED TO BE ROUGH. They are more exciting that way.
I never got to ride the original, and I was thrilled to here they were not taking out the entire ride. I still have to experience the famous second drop.

I agree that SP was a great coaster, but when they are too rough, that is the problem. PR looks like it will be fun but it probably wont compare to the original, but I love airtime, so who knows.

I do not know any rollercoaster designers that plan to make their rollercoasters rough. I know a lot of coasters that are rough, but they were not designed that way. One of the reasons I love Raging Bull is is because of how smooth it is, not because of its roughness!

No offense, I really like the ride, but I think the trains for Magnum XL200 really sucked. They are big and boxy looking. I really like how Intamin designs their hyper-coaster trains, so you get a great view of the action and feel like barely anything is holding you in.
Has Arrow improved their train design in 12yrs for hypercoasters since MagnumXL-200??

Morgan is going to use the origanal running gear that SP had, and they are going to put a hyper body on it...or at least try to. So, what we will see are, are trains that look like Steel Force or Mamba trains...I think.
I really liked SP, but this is a business, and the park believed that SP should either be replaced or re-built as another type of ride.
I don't blame them, although I will miss the intense ride on SP

Who cares? Arrow's not designing the trains anyway; Morgan is. ;)
And no, we don't know what they're going to look like. On one hand, there's a temptation to think they'll look like other Morgan hypercoaster trains, but then again, those are 3-bench cars and the Arrow chassis were designed for 2. Yet another twist in this seemingly never-ending story.

I second that. This is my opinion, but I don't know how Phantom's Revenge's layout could possibly be uninteresting. The use of the terrain, the tunnel, the airtime hills, etc. I think it's gonna surprise a lot of people.

They make you remove your earings chitown. Last year I had to when I rode BTR in SFoT. And by intense I mean you feel the force of the coaster. Such as on millenium force, steel phantom, the helix on raptor.

Maybe, you need to pick up a dictionary now that you are using spell check. Since, the last time I picked up a dictionary "intense" and "rough" had two different meanings. I love intense coasters, BUT I cannot stand coasters that bang your head from side to side(aka rough coasters). So in the future I cannot debate with you if we do not have the same meaning of the words.;)

I personally find the ending on Phantom's Revenge to be lackluster (looking, at least, as I obviously haven't ridden it). The hops seem very awkward and, dare I say, rampy. Also, I cannot *believe* they scrapped the double up into the second hill. I'm pretty soured by that.
I did love the first and second drops, so I'm sure I'll like the new version. But I think they could have done more with the ride.

Okay then stop complaining. You can go and ride your little coasters that dont bang you up cause thats all they are. Go ride your coasters without loops. Go ride any coaster that isnt wooden. The fact is if you dont want to ride a rough coaster your going to be missing out on a lot of rollercoasters. And also dont you people have anything better to do then get down on my spelling?

Hate to complain, but if you do not spell things right we cannot understand one another. Since, words take on different meanings. I just wish, that spell check would run everytime someone hit "Submit reply." Helped you out with your pervious reply.
In response, I would not call Raging Bull or Millennium Force "little coasters." I do not walk off those coasters with a headache.
