will kongs new paint help the suffering ride?

Why is Kong suffering? This is new to me & obviously a reason why it got repainted. The 1995 Lethal Weapon SLC at Movie World Australia is great fun. It has some headbanging, but I don't mind it and the OSTRs have the Vekoma add-on padding. *** This post was edited by CoasterGod on 3/4/2001. ***

I personally don't really like SLC's. I find them too rough. But I do like Kongs new paint. It looks cooler..

i said it was suffering because i have ridden it and i will never ride it again. my friend simone and me she talked me into trying to ride again its so close to being worse and more painful tahn psyclone at SFMM.

I don't think anything could save a Vekoma SLC! Unless of course they sold the design to B+M!

They're all rough, but some worse than others. Best ride of the one's I've ridden is SFA's Mind Eraser. Second best is T2 at SFKK. Of course these are both helped by the add on head pads. Is there a connection that they we also both built in 1995?

Vekomas Hang And Bangs are like their Looping Coasters they are all rough due to strange twists in the looping elements and transitions that would be great on stronger track. In the long run Vekomas layouts are geinious but sadly they dont use a track strong enough to handle it. Imagine Vekoma using B&M track, that would be a smooth awesome ride, same problem Arrow coasters suffer (ie Drachen)

Oh come on guys, why you being such wimps? ;) I went on Serial Thriller @ SFWoA and I loved it. It wasn't rought for me at all! I thought it was very fun and pretty intense. I thought Serial Thriller was almost as good as B:TR.

Vekoma SLC'S aren't silky smooth B&M'S, but they aren't going to rattle teeth loose. They are no worse than any Schwarzkopf coaster, with the exception that they have OTSR'S while most Schwarzkopf's do not.

How could paint save a ride, thats what I think Six Flags Ohio was trying to do with double loop. Its a very smooth ride and fun, but everyone wants the beasts of the coasters. "Will Kongs new paint help the suffering ride"? I doubt it.
