Last year, Holiday World added their Thanksgiving section, the fourth holiday themed area in the park. I wonder, what could be in the future? Will the Easter Bunny be hopping into the park sometine in the future? How about Valentine's Day or New Years?
Interestingly, there used to be several rides whose theming would have been perfect for a Valentines section. These included the Calypso and the Heart Flip. Of course, a Tunnel of Love with Valentine's theming such as cupids, etc would fit as well. As for Easter, how about having a replica Flying Coaster called the Bunny Hop. Naturally kids would be able to visit the Easter Bunny while in the Easter section of the park.
OH YEAH! A presidents day section of the park, that will go over great. I can only imagine how the Bill Clinton darkride would be. You go through the ride with a rubber mallet type of device, and try to hit on as many female interns as you go along. At the end they display your score of how many female interns you nailed.
Why not Channukah Village? Or Kwanza Kingdom? Maybe an adult area themed for New Years or St. Patrick's day where they get sloshed all day? Perhaps a Columbus Day section where people are robbed of all their possessions and forced to work in the gift shops? Let's not forget Black History Month.

Arthur Bahl said: I would expect the next area would be either Valentines Day or Easter because there are so many good ideas that can be used for either of these holidays. Bring on Cupid and the Bunny!
Easter will have the world's longest coaster with 15 undergroung tunnels, and be called HOPPING MAD!
Well then you can count out the possiblity of ever seeing a St Patty's Day section of the park. To bad, we'll never get to see those matching Leprechaun outfits, and 2 very short guys trying to get to each others lucky charms. Now that certainly didn't sound right.
You could keep the leprechauns and maybe have a pot-of-gold interactive darkride with variable endings like King Tut and Labyrinth of the Minotaur. Good skill in finding the elusive leprechauns brings you to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I believe Will said last year that by 2010 he was hoping to double the park's size and Thanksgiving would be the centerpiece of the future park. That could mean adding several themed sections beyond Thanksgiving.
I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
That appears more realistic. The only problem is the limited number of accommodations within a reasonable distance of the park. HW needs to become more of a semi-destination park like BGE or DW so that more people will want to come from further away. Then more hotels and motels will follow.
One thing important: don't change the things that make HW special such as the friendly atmosphere and the policy of not nickeling and diming (or worse) everyone over and over even after they paid to get in.
