Deja Vu count: 1
Will it go up this year? Doubtful...
The first drop of Wildfire, IMHO, has the best airtime of any B&M first drop. Add in the setting on the side of a hill in the middle of the Ozarks and you have a wonderful ride. My only complaint about the ride is that it's so far away from my home :)

I couldn't tell you because i've never been on it.
Then why even answer?
I loved Wildfire. The perfect addition to SDC. Nice, Intense, Just plain fun. It's not the longest coaster, but I wouldn't expect SDC to get the longest B&M looper. Wildfire has served it's purpose nicely.

This is one of my most favorite coasters around. IT not the rough but its not sleepy smooth ethier. in Nov and Dec the night rides are very very dark (Sometimes with no lights at night) and scary. When you go up the lift hill at night it is like no other coaster I've been on. I can see lots of stars in the dark sky, the dark Table Rock Lake, and the neat christmas lights on the SDC Frisco railway. When there's no lights on the track you can't see the immelman loop at all.
On the other had the only reason why this ride seem short is because it goes fast all the way to the end of the ride. Also there's no mid course breaks so its pure speed all the way to the end.
Also SDC is really happy with B&M about this ride. I wouldn't be surprised if I see a new B&M get built for next year at the new park they're building at the old Branson USA park.

Be sure and ride in the back...the very back. That my friends, is where all the magic happens
I too rode it in December. They will operate the ride as long as the temperature is above 39 degrees. My last 2 rides of the day were at night..40 degrees with a nice cold rain. Wow, that thing hurts in hard rain...but what a rush!!
Wildfire ranks up there on my top 10 list and I believe the length is perfect for the intensity this thing puts you through so quickly.
