Get ready to fly! Haha! Why does that video crack me up? Maybe it's just the fiddle.

In all seriousness, though, that's a great video with great animation. If only more parks would start realizing how hard-hitting this type of promotion can be... After watching that, I want to go to Branson!

The same feeling crossed me when I saw the Talon animation that Keith McVeen (AKA Badnitrus) did for Dorney park. Now I am totally psyched about the whole thing. Video promotion is one of the best things. Remember, if it weren't for the photos from the IAAPA convention, we wouldn't have known as much about Wildfire (or how damn cool the cars look!)

Anyone else think the velocity of the train was terribly slow? I think this was another Liquid Light Studios creation, like the Deja Vu and X animations.. You would think the motion would be a little better to compliment their awesome scenery.. too bad the actual roller coaster was only about 25% of the whole video... nice story though

The velocity of the train did seem a bit sluggish. The station looks pretty neat though and the que is supposed to be a walk through the mad scientist's lab so the ride should be really well themed. I thought it was funny when the animation showed the train right before it dispatched and it looked like the riders where getting hit by scolding hot steam from those tanks in the station:) (guessing that is supposed to be the Wildfire fuel and is just water mist)

Have they started testing this coaster yet? I seem to remember it being done quite a while ago.

This ride is actually one of the recent B&M's that I'm really psyched about, it's very original.
