Wildfire

Who has been on it ? How Smooth is it ? Is it worth a 2 hour wait ? I know it goes 66 mph, does it seen fast ? What do you think would be your favorite part of the ride ?  For me it would probably be the Cobra Roll. do you think it was worth the $14,000,000 ?

I rode Wildfire a ton of times at the ACE Spring Con this past summer.  It is very smooth and a great ride!  My favorite part of the ride is the first drop - its the best B&M first drop outside of their hypers.  It is a straight drop, rather than the signature turning drops, and there is tons of airtime in the backseat.  I think it is definitely worth the money for the park, it is a great addition.  The main complaint from most people is that the ride is a bit on the short side, but it is a perfect sized coaster for SDC.  Also, the scenery on this ride (mountains and trees as far as the eye can see) cannot be beat.

I would probably wait 2 hours to ride it since I don't get out to SDC much (although it sure would suck to wait that long - do the lines really get THAT long at this park?).

On a side note, this coaster has an incredible gift shop as soon as you exit the ride.  It is nothing but Wildfire merchandise - I've never seen such a variety (*at least* 10 varieties of t-shirts, as well as every other thing that you can imagine).

Without a doubt, the best part of the ride is the first drop in the back seat.

Yep !

I love the first drop in the back seat. Going to go ride it tomorrow (sat Dec 1) as the temp is supposed to be in the high 50s.
