I did Hypersonic XLC in the rain. That was somewhat painful. You couldn't even open your eyes so you have no clue where you're going!

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!
*BUT* the most fun single in therain ride was me and SuperJewels in the front seat of S:UE the day after CoasterRainia. I remember the first thing I said when the ride stopped was "That was really STUPID". It hurt....it hurt bad...

Also in the rain at SFMM, I have done Viper, (awesome rain ride) Revolution, and Batman, in a downpour!
I have also done Ghostrider right after a rain when the tracks were still wet, as we were going up the lift, the rain startred lightly again. Talk about making a good thing better, WOW, it was religious.

Nothing... NOTHING... can prepare you for... the Fourth Dimension!
I'd have to say that The Beast was the best ride I've ever had "in the rain." This was back when I was a kid and the ride was in its prime: Out of Control.
This summer I had a cool ride on the Thunderbolt at Kennywood right after a morning shower, and several wicked rides on Cornball Express after some afternoon showers.

Someday there will be something here.
That is weird I was on the same ride and I got a knot on the top of my head/

"Back in 97 on Magnum. We were half way up the lift when it started hailing. They anounced over the loud speaker that we were the last train of the night due to the weather. It was the craziest/most painful ride of my life. I ended up with a small cut on my eyebrow. In the end, it was a great ride.-----------------

Coastermania 2001
Mantis was the first thing we rode, it was pouring, but it was coming down moderately. We were the second train out, and there were only 4 people on it, we were all in the front. Probably the best ride I have ever had on Mantis.
Raptor, we went to this next because people started to head back toward Mantis more. When we were going up the lift, it started pouring, it was like the inverted Snake River Falls. When the ride was over, we were soaked. But it was still awsome.
Millennium Force, when the park opened to the GP we jumped in line for this (actually we jumped in about 15 min. earlier than it opened) it was still raining pretty hard. When we got on the rain had lightened up, but not much. It stung just a tad. But it was still good.

I rode Raven at SRM in the rain after spraining my ankle earlier that day. That was fabulous except for the pain in my ankle, but I couldn't resist the opportunity. That was the SRM where we all took shelter from the tornado. Anyone else here go to that one?
Drat, it's a beautiful day to ride coasters and Adventureland is closed during the week. Hopefully Saturday, I can get my CCi fix on the Outlaw.

Haven't ridden too many coasters in the rain, but...
Last year at Kennywood, front seat on the Thunderbolt. They were already loading the trains only half-full to keep from overshooting the brakes. As soon as we left the station, it downpoured. We hit the last skid brake before the station and - whoops, overshot. The ride shutdown and left us stranded out there getting drenched. Of course, when we finally got off the ride, we headed straight for the log flume and rerode 3 times...
And after yesterday at PKI, I must say that the Beast is incredibly out of control in the cold. And the Eiffel Tower in 45+ MPH winds is a very different experience.

yesterday, i was at SFA with a buddy of mine....we got there at opening, almost in POURING rain...S:ROS was....well, there is no words to describe what it was like...front seat. whew...amazing:) once we started that drop, till the final brake, it was like needles flying through your body!! totally awesome:) will never forget it:)
Tim (who now wonders what MF would be like in rain like that....gotta love Intamin hypers:))
p.s. Does anyone know if that F5 tornado that hit La Plata MD end up getting near SFA?? i guess we would have heard about it on the news....
