Wild Waves/Enchanted Village to add ten new rides

Posted | Contributed by Uncle Buck

Wild Waves/Enchanted Village is planning to add ten new rides for the 2002 season. Included is a 40-foot tall coaster and a 50-foot "splash coaster." The park's general managed said a bigger coaster is definitely in the park's long-term plans, which was bought by Six Flags in late 2000.

Mamoosh,I was refering to the potential of Thrillville USA in Oregon, not EV.You are right that EV or any park will not be like Holiday World as every park over time develops its' own unique atmosphere.

RS Anderson - I knew what you were saying, I just couldn't resist a parody of the response his opponent gave when Dan Quayle, in the VP debate, compared himself to Kennedy.  Perhaps the people on C-buzz are a bit too young to remember that....

The splash coaster is a Shoo-the-Chutes ride which is being refurbished at Six Flags Over Texas, as for the other .. I have no clue.

P>Actually, Marine World had all those rides installed when Premier bought the park. They operated for one year under Premier, I believe, before Six lags purchased Premier Parks./P>
P>I don't know if this place will expand quite as much as Marine World though because there is no direct competition in the Seattle area./P>
