Wild Mouse Questions

I've encountered 3 modern Wild Mice...

Hersheypark's (Mack GmBH & Co. 1999)
Dorney Park's (Mauer Sohne, 2000)
Morey's Piers' Doo Wopper (Zamperla, 1998)

I've noticed something... Hershey's is different than the other two in two ways (aside from height and breaking). The cars do not have seat belts and they are constantly moving during loading and unloading.

Dorney has a laoding area for 3 cars and then stacks them in front of the lift hill be for dispatch. Morey's also stops theirs for loading and unloading. Both Morey's and Dorney's also have seat belts in addition to their lap bars.

My question is... Is Hershey's the "odd ball" in the way of restraints, or are Dorney's and Morey's? Is this a difference in park ooperating procedure (as far as the constantly moving cars) or is it a difference between manufacturers?

The Wild Maus at BGW is similar to Hershey's... Constant motion and no seat belts... So may be a manufacturer thing....
I have been on the first two (not Morey's).
I was at both parks in the same week in late June. I liked Hershey's better even before I got on because I could see the load times were faster. What you (SFLAKE) said seems to explain why...the cars never stop and no seatbelts. And the riding publice seems to figure it out with very little of those irritating delay-causing issues.
I don't know what comes first, the park asking for that type of loading, or the manufacturer stating that "this is what you get if you buy from us" but it seems to work nicely.
When you consider that the ride itself has more to it (and very little braking) it all adds up to a great wild mouse ride (the best I have experienced).
Hershey's is by far the best non-spinning Wild Mouse. They hardly use any brakes whereas Dorney's and BGW mice might as well be called Wild Brakes.

I agree. Psycho Mouse at PGA is also brake heavy. RCDB says Psycho Mouse is by Arrow, and it has a loading area for one car and an unloading area, and it queues them before the lift hill. There is also only individual lapbars and no seatbelts. It's a little different, but the Hershey Park one is the best around here (we still need some wooden ones).

Other Arrow wild mice(lol) are at ValleyFair, MA, and Myrtle Beach.

I havent been the Hersheypark, yet..But, I thought Dorney's was pretty good, but you hit nail on the nose with BGW's Wild Maus. It was not enjoyable.
