wild adventures swamp thing

Went to wild adventure yesterday 5/3/2003

They started the day with all the cars on

the ground they hung all the cars and

are running the control wires . I would guess

it will be up and running by memorial day

weekend. The water park is supposed to open that weekend to I doubt that will happen the wave pool is still a dirt hole in the ground. The lazy river is not complete

the rainforest is starting to go up.

This park is always very clean and most of the staff is helpful

So, Swamp Thing is a skyride or an inverted log ride? ;)

I've been waiting for a report as to when the Vekoma junior inverted coaster was opening, so thanks for the report.

Did you get a chance to ride Fiesta Express and how was it? I don't think I'll miss that awful little Wisdom kiddie coaster. I almost felt sorry for it... but then the op made us go around twice... again. LOL!

What's this about a Rainforest? Another part of the waterpark? This great park just keeps growing so much each year it's hard to keep up with what all is happening.

I went to Wild Adventures last Christmas break, and I think it is one of the best big parks in the world! I hope to return this summer and get more awesome air on Cheetah.

swamp thing is a suspended family coaster

(stays right side up) over the parks gators

it is opening may 10 the lazy river &

the rain forest (think jungle gym slides & sprinklers with a big bucket at top)

will open may 30

p.s. i think the swamp thing is called reptar

at some other parks?
