what a great promotion, very interesting angle to take, in these tough times with gas expenses.
Why don't they just charge $5 less on admission? We all know that money would go to gas anyway.

(That's a rhetorical question)

Why don't they spend $5 of each paid admission to fix Cheetah? What a mess that woodies was!

What Moosh said! Actually, they just *did* pay to fix it....but what with those Godawful trains, the repairs lasted, well, less than four months. GOTTA get them to change those trains, the longest wait I've seen for Cheetah since its Grand Opening weekend was about 15 minutes...was 2-3 dispatches. The line for the SLC gets longer!

Since they really only run one train at a time, why not sell both of those Gerstlauers and buy ONE nice shiny PTC. Two-benchers please, the figure-eight finale is really where most of the abuse comes from...well, and that turnaround. Ouch!

On a more positive note, Hurricane (the junior woodie at Cypress) was running SWEET again today...smooth as butter - and it runs junior PTCs. Galaxy Spin was down all day though...meh, who knows, there might be a TR...;)

The same reason that Holiday World and Lake Compounce don't cost $5 less on admission and charge for Pepsi. When people perceive they're getting something for free, they have a more positive image of the park.
