Wild Adventures Hallowscream

Has anyone been to this event and is it any good? I was planning on heading up there this weekend but wanted to see if anyone has been and what the crowds are like. Not much talk about this park on the boards.

Thanks

Hallowscream was the original name that SFA used for their event back in the Adventure world days, what a coincidence.

Of course I've never been to the Georgia parks at all so I wouldn't have a clue as to if it's as good as some of the other halloween events going on at say SF or paramount parks.

I'd be interested on info on this park as well, as it looks like a really nice park.

Haven't been back to Valdosta in a couple months, so I'm not sure what's up with their Hallowscream...I would *guess* based on the park's demographics that it isn't what you'd call a "gore-fest" or anything, it really IS a kid-friendly atmosphere there. Cheetah was a huge boost to the thrill-seeking lineup, and the park is well-maintained and well-run. Employees are friendly, and there were CONSIDERABLE upgrades this past year to the lake area (docks) and to the rides (Kite Flyer, Power Surge, and a kids' walk-thru). The park is expanding at an appropriate rate, and is doing things RIGHT, which IMO is more important than fast....and better business, too!

rollergator,

That's good to hear because I'm taking my 8 year old with me. The park looks to have some pretty good rides. It's nice to be able to ride all year long. I think I'll check what's doin' on Sunday at BGT also.
