Wild Adventures December 5 Weekend

Associated parks:
None

So i got bored with my snow in New Jersey. Wild Adventures was intially scheduled for New Year's Day. So i left at 2 in the evening for the 17 hour ride to Valdosta, Georiga.

I thought I got to Wild Adventures late but the park opened at 1 and I got at 12:30. So i got a few snacks and took a pee at a local convience store.

Alright i got to the park after paying the discounted $3 parking(versus $7). First ride was the awesome CCI woodie Cheetah! This is a awesome ride!. The laterals and air are simply amazing! It maybe be short but intense!

Next coaster i hit was the fun mouse, Bug Out. It's major flaw is that it's overbraked. If it was not it would rival Riccochet.

Next up I saw the amazing show, Amazing Cats featuring Bengal and Siberian tigers!!!! It was sweet!

I did the two SLCs next:Swamp Thing and Hangman. Swamp Thing was the Painful Thing but Hangman was smooth and intense!

I hit the Double Shot next. A nice way to get my freefall fix.

Then I went to the Dockside Deli for some chow. Wild Adventures I learned is the last place to buy food. All the locals did not buy any food but we stupid New Jerseyans did.

I did some nice flats like a twister, flight trainer, and some others.

Of course I checked the animals in the park. They were cool.

Sounds like you had fun! Why didn't you call me? I was stuck in snowy NJ all weekend!

Thanks,
DMC

Well because of two reasons:

1.I don't know who you are and thus I can't trust you

2. I don't know your phone

Um....I think he was just kidding.

When will the Seinfeld Season DVD's finally come out??

This is my home park and we eat in the parking lot (at the tables)or drive into town to eat. This park just added a water park (Closed till feb-march) and is growing fast. They have not said if anything new for next year.
I went to Wild Adventures 2 yars ago. They were scheduled to open Cheetah a week before I went , but it was still missing several major parts. I found Hangman to be a very well maintained ride , which also reflected on the rest of the park. Bug out is my current Fav. Mouse because it's just pure fun.

The park is growing because they buy only off the shelf rides. The only ride in the park that's really it's own design is Cheetah. The idea works , and each year, they bring in the crowds by having plenty of money to finance new rides.

And , the whirlpool on Tasmanian river rapids is the best singel element on a rapids ride by far.

tpdom....I always loved that whirlpool, and can only imagine how good it *could* be themed for Halloween...

Cheetah is quite well maintained, always watch the mechanics riding in the front to check out the ride. All the rides are cared for, and the customers feel the same.

I'll be showing up for Running Wild THIS year......barring insanely cold weather...:)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

If I counted right, 6 out of WA's 9 coasters are family coasters. Is the park geared mainly towards kids? If not, they seriously need to even out the coaster ratio there.
Yes, a majority of the rides are geared towards kids, but the park is also very young (Less than 10 years old) and privately owned. The park also has intermediate coasters like Swamp Thing and Bug Out (wild mouse) The park has plenty of room to expand too and will with more visitors each year.

Which one? The one at PKD is way over-braked. Carowinds has the better Richochet in my opinion.
