Vekoma has updated their site with the facts and rendering of Swanp Thing, Wild Adventure's new suspended coaster.
What I am puzzled about is the layout picture. From the way it is depicted, it looks like the track is traveling through a tunnel the entire ride as if it were a worm hole. Can someone tell me if the ride will really be sealed in as depicted or did Vekoma hire some lazy graphic designers?

...assuming you're referring to the picture on the bottom, that would be (B) poor graphics design....the coaster won't be enclosed, 99% certain....although I like your idea of a wormhole better....;)
Does anyone know for certain if the Fiesta Express for WA is THE one from IAAPA....seems *logical* considering transportation costs, but I figured I'd ask...
Didn't the one at IAAPA say Fiesta Express on the ride in big letters? If so, then that's the one...

Yes, the model that was shown at IAAPA 2002, is indeed the same exact coaster going in at WA. A rep for the manufacture told me that himself.

That's right, it's a clearance diagram, referred to by Vekoma as an envelop rendering. This is done for most coasters, just to check if the supports aren't too close on the track. This can be done by raw maths as well, this is a lot faster than using a diagram.
