Wicked Twister Progress

Looking at the web came pictures on www.cedarpoint.com of Wicked Twister it looks as though the towers are done. Is this true? What more needs to be done before they start testing the ride? Is this ride going to be the largest of its kind? Alright, enough of my questions.

Yes it is done. I dont know about testing. Yes, it is the tallest of its kind.

Did you read the construction diary? did you look at the pictures? Well, if you would have looked at the whole site there, you would get your answers.

I thought that testing wasn't to begin until late March, after the weather has more or less died down for the season, with the exception of the ever-popular unexpected late storms, but hey, you get those in July too.

According to the diary entry, and Monty Jasper on the construction tour we did, there will be about a month of what looks like nothing going on. The work will all be electrical, and will go on until about late March when they'll do a pull-through and fire up the ride.
