Wicked Twister is coming down!

I talked to a few ride ops yesterday, and they talked to Fat Carl(a maintenace worker), all these people from SFWoA, said that they taking WT down, b/c at one of the spikes 160feet up, its suppose to be held on by 8 bolts, when they did there usual walk through, they found that it was only held on by 2 bolts!

So i guess there taking it down, thats what they said...

Stop the lawyers, not the rides!

They lied, Do you mean taking down a part of the ride to repair it, or taking the whole ride out?

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

And how would a maintenance worker and people from WoA know anything about the internal workings of CP? WT is fine, itll require some maintenance in the off-season, but all impulses are rocky their first year. Its a fine-tuned piece of machinery, you gotta baby it before itll hum

And this, my friends, is why I made a certain suggestion to improve CoasterBuzz.

You know what I'm talking about...

-'Playa

(whose home park is building another WT)

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

-Playa, I'm with you. I thought it was a great suggestion and I think this may be the first winner in the ---of a lifetime category.

The countdown to gaydays 2003 at Disney and Universal has begun.

I would guess that, if anything, they are going to take down the top parts of the towers (during the off season) to replace them with ones the have connectors so that they can add a few more supports. This would take a lot of engineering so they definatly won't start or finish this until the off season. Jeez, if any impulse gets taken down, it would be SFWoA's own S:UE. I was there yesterday and it broke down twice. I think the LIMs were overheating, because I was in the station when it broke down the second time, and they turned on some things that sounded like fans and when we finally got on, it was very hot underneath the LIMs. This leads me a question, "Ya got any of them Super LIMs?"

This leads me to wonder if people still have brains...or at least common sense.

'Playa, I also loved the suggestion.

Playa's suggestion doesn't seem very silly now, does it?
