Wicked Twister

Does anyone know what's going on with Wicked Twister? I was at CP yesterday, and there is a crane next to WT and a cable that's attached to the crane that's also attached to WT. I know there was a lot of operational problems with it recently, and was wondering if that crane and cable have anything to do with that. Thanks!

That is for maintenance but Saturday nite at about 9:30pm I took a front-seat ride and WT was back to her early-season form! All the way up the top spike on the 3rd launch, all the way up the back spike on the 4th! None of this 3/4 stuff ...

It was running funny again yesterday - sometimes it made it all the way up the spike, and sometimes it didn't. Lines were only 15 minutes most of the day, too.
It's pretty sad we're on the third generation of impulse coasters and Intamin can't even get them to work right. This whole thing just goes along with my "B&M must be laughing," thread. By the way, on my two days to CP in June Wicked Twister was closed both days.

The thing is it's 200 feet launched, B&M has one launched and they were strongly against it, B&M may be laughing, but they are losing business when someone wants a launched coaster.

It was down all but an hour yesterday, and it's still down at this very moment. Not sure what the problems are, but I do know they are mechanical and not operational. They are working on it.

It keeps having rollbacks ;)...
There was a problem with it when i was in line on friday. We waited for about fifteen minutes, and it seemed to be under control. My friend and I grabbed the front seats. Anywhere else on the thing, it's not that great, but the front seats are phenomenal. Our vocal chords were hoarse afterwards. I liked it even better that MF.
