Wicked looking ride at carnival. (Again)

I've ridden it like 3 or 4 times all in Pigeon Forge. It was horrible the first time I rode it because it was 20 degrees and the windchill was 10 degrees and I still loved it it is without a doubt my favorite upcharge thrill ride. I haven't yet been SCAD diving yet though.

Are we sure the Boomer's Skyscraper is gone? According to their website, The Blender (their name for it) is still there and costs $9 a ride. Here's the link for ya'll. It's listed on the attractions page and on the tickets page as well.

I'll be heading down there later this month, so I'll keep everyone posted. The operators made this ride intense as well, as they kept slowing it down and speeding it up throughout the cycle.

I-4: The scariest ride in all of Orlando!

When i rode it at dorney i went with ACE(even though its not a ACE event) to Coaster Maddness and had a 50% discount cupon thats the only reason why i rode it.

My guess is that if this ride was in the Chicago area it was owned by Spectacular Midways. Although Chicago has lots of great shows, this carnival is among the best. Thier equipment is always in very good condition and seems to get more paint than a lot of parks I have been to. They aquired the Turbo Force last season and it has been a big hit for them (it is one of a handful traveling the U.S.). It is much easier to move than the Gravity Works Skyscraper because the Skyscraper requires a crane to erect and the Turbo Force racks on one trailer and is raised with a hydraulic arm.

Dorney's is great, and I felt very secure on it. I got dizzy on that thing though hahaha.

You are correct LONNOL.

The carnival at this festival was "Spectacular Midways".

I am still kicking myself for not riding this thing. :(

Arena football has arrived in the Windy City. Go "Chicago Rush"

I happened upon a ride on the skyscraper in Orlando which is located outside of a putt-putt golf course and a small water park. If memory serves me correctly its the same exit you take for Universal, just the opposite direction. Also located near the skyscraper was the skydiving simulation of which everyone who's looking for a thrill should try one of these out as well!!

From what I remember (this was about 2 years ago) the pricing was $20 for 1 and $30 for 2 riders on the skyscraper. Being in a group of four, I have to admit I was extremely intimidated by this contraption. Once the first group got off their spin, I swallowed deeply and hooked into the 5point restraints for a ride I will never forget! I'm getting short of breath just thinking about it!

If you see one.. RIDE IT!.

What was I supposed to put here again?!?!

The old Hunt's Pier in Wildwood has one... I'm not sure if their claim is true, but they say its the largest of its kind!
