A few more notes :) I do like both. I'm VERY glad that a lot of people love WT, they should. As for the whole ear issue. I have ridden every impulse in the USA (front back and middle). The front spike on all of them is as smooth as glass to me. I have heard a few people say other wise in some rare cases. I have no doubt I'm a rare case on WT. Intamin just does too good of a job on their coasters. I do have strange ears that can get hurt easily...that's part of life. As for why it happened on WT this is my theory. I have ridden many SUE clones and none that twist on the rear spike. I'm use to leaning forward and having my weight sit a certain way in the car to where I can feel the great free fall without touching the harness. When I sat like that on WT. The front spike was the same because the weight is on the back. On the back spike the sudden twist of having the weight forward just caused my body to do an intense shift. I'm not expert, even though I'm about to get my degree in Mech. Eng. (not English, mind you, so I appologize for that.) Like I said after I realized that, I didn't have a problem.
I did not make the initial post to offend anyone or any park. Just my own thoughts. As for the coaster count suggestion. No way by any means should any park build a coaster just for a count. Besides they could have built 20 kiddy coasters for the one they did build. I realize that. CP does have a GREAT collection of coasters now and will continue to grow with the plans they have!! I am a true CP fan. I chose it way before SFWoA and have since moved closer to SFWoA, but heart remains with CP :) I have met many of you who truly know that. I'm glad that CP has a great coaster. I like Ghost Rider more than Blue Streak (thought Blue Streak is running INSANE this year and better than ever). No harm done. Just an opinion. I can't wait to ride all the Ohio coasters next weekend. What a winter this has been. See ya around at the parks!!
