Wichita ups safety requirements for traveling fairs

Amusement parks and traveling carnivals that set up inside the city of Wichita will undergo extra inspections. Two inspections, $1 million in liability insurance and submission of insurance company inspections will be required.

The few details provided here seem to make the regulation seem pretty reasonable, though the liability insurance requirement is really a bit low by today's standards. Most businesses need to have a limit considerably higher than that today.

Of course, it would really be better if the state was handling this.
