Why won't my Handymen water gardens?

I was playing the From the Ashes scenerio. I had them doing routes and had the water gardens checked. When they came to dried out flowers they would just walk past them.

It was near the enterance where the two ponds were with the fountains. The one side was fine but the other half was all dried out.

I fired one handyman then hired a new one for the same spot with no luck. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Because handymen are notorious drunks. Take your eye off them for a minute and they're hiding in some corner with a flask. ;)

Seriously, I'm not sure. Make sure all the flowers are in a sqaure that touches the path the handyman is patrolling. Even still they seem to have a hard time with corners. Flowers on the outside of a turning path (in a square diagonal to the path) tend to get missed.

I also noticed handymen have a hard time with double wide paths. If it's a wide path, he may just be missing the one side.

That is why you don't see flower beds in the coasters I upload to the games section. I don't use the ones that came with the game. I instead used colorable flower beds that don't need any watering for my custom parks. That way I can put flowers wherever I darn well please and they never ever dry out.

They are always drunk! i have problems with them too i use trainers to make it rain so handyman don't have to water them!

When it rains the flowers do become "not dried out." And make sure you select "water gardens" for each handyman. they automatically have that selected but maybe you clicked it so they dont water the gardens.

The problem is that they won't stay there,I even tried putting up fences around the flowerbeds to keep mine within a certain area & yet they are somehow able to walk right through them.

One of the scenarios in Wacky Worlds, the Grand Canyon one, has a huge flowerbed US flag. I set one handyman in the middle and made ONLY those flowers is only job. And he STILL didn't do it unless I picked him up and set him in the middle. Had to keep doing it too because he'd water a few, then try to leave.

use a trainer to make it rain it will work i had tons of dead flowers then after a good rain make it sunny your flowers will be as good as new!
