"enough is enough"-?
Why do people not put pictures on Internet forums?
(a) Reduce the number of stalkers/fanboys/fangirls they have, if they are attractive.
(b) Ugly, or somehow assured that they are ugly, even if they aren't.
I guess I can't speak too well for these people, because my pictures are all over the damn Internet on cam portals and web pages and such (NOT ATTENTION WHORE).
I agree with Shaggy and Sean F. If you're going to come up to me and start talking to me out of the blue at an amusement park, for PETE'S SAKE PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF FIRST! Unless we've been talking online for upwards of a year, and I've seen a lot of pictures of you, and the meeting is planned, I PROBABLY WILL NOT REMEMBER YOU.
Also, Vacarro, you bonehead. Redownload the file to your hard drive, find the location and click UPLOAD in your user info. Make sure it meets the size specifications and you're gold. It doesn't need to be hosted anywhere else on the web...just another thing crazy Putz over there does for us is hosting all of our malformed visages.
Edit: Also to those of you wondering how to resize/edit images. There's a good (free) program called The GIMP that will do the job well if you just put some time into learning it.
You can download it here:

And while you're at it, while I'm generally happy to meet people, please don't expect that I'm going to talk to you for the rest of the day. I met some dude in the queue of Millennium Force in 2000 while at the park with one of my best friends I hadn't seen in two years. Some dude introduces himself and the next day sends me e-mail telling me I'm a big jerk for not talking to him more.
Excuse me? Because I run a coaster site and you saw my photo I'm supposed to be your best friend now? Am I to disregard my best man for you? Please! Get a life. Next!
Sorry, I've been hanging on to that now for two years. Whew! Glad to finally get that out of my system.

I agree, irfanview is a great, easy to use graphic viewer that will allow simple (crop, resize, etc) editing, is free, and only a single EXE. ACDSee is a better viewer to me, but a little more bloated, and not free.
If anyone needs their images edited, feel free to email me.

Awwww EchoVictor your daughter is SO CUTE.
And rollergator, I think you're correct to assume that you don't have to worry about being overwhelmed for dates by girls. This is, after all, a coaster enthusiast message board. However, you might want to watch for the boys, hehehe. ;)

roofle owned?
LMAO Natalie....I do notice that the "10% rule" sems to be exceeded in the enthusiast community, but that's cool by me - I'm a HUGE fan of "Kids in the Hall"...;)

My picture was about 776k before I posted it. I opened in in paint, chopped my brother out, no offense, then saved it and it was like 16k.

Jeff, that is what happend to me also. Three times within a couple of years. The last time the e-mail I got back was, "I thougth you would be cooler to me."
Now, I don't mind being friendly to folks I just met, but you have to realize that just because I may want to talk coasters a bit, or hang out, does NOT mean I want to do a trip with you to Guam the next day. Nor does it mean I am stuck-up or something similar. I do like hanging out with people but I am not about to do a trip with someone I barely know.
Trust me, I have done that once and it WON'T be happening again.

Nat,
You go girl!!
To be honest, I won't even do a trip with someone I have chatted, shared pictures with, talked on the phone with. I've done that ONE time and learned my lesson the hard way. Only people I know from now on. =:^)

ok, now you got me wondering, what happened?!?!
MonkeyMaster,
I will admit. That sounded really nasty on my part. Let's just say I invited someone onto a coaster trip I was doing with some friends and I didn't exactly know what I was getting myself into. It turned out to get rather ugly at times because none of us really knew this person in advance.....it's a long story but I did learn my lesson as far as that goes..

Dagnabit Sean,
I just cashed in my frequent flyer miles and they have this great price for roundtrips to Guam. :o\ I hear it's beautiful this time of year. :oÞ
