Why SFO?

Why does Jeff close any post about Six Flags Ohio that is close to being a compliment or good review of the park??? Hmm, no bias in this forum.
I don't think that's really the case. When posts express substantive, thoughtful analysis or ponderings, it's OK, but many of the SFO posts in the past have turned into meaningless subjective opinion expression that isn't really that interesting. And that's been the case with many pro-SFO and anti-SFO posts. It's not really Jeff expressing bias against positive SFO posts (though we know his opinion), it's more that new or interesting ideas are rarely expressed, or quickly degenerate into pointless arguments.

I'm not particularly interested in anyone's opinion of any park, and similarly I don't try to force my opinion of any park on others. I judge a park's worth by the discussions of the coasters it contains.

Here's a news flash... I don't sit around scanning the forums all day long. I go out to eat, watch movies, ride my bike, work 40 hours per week and even ride a coaster from time to time. There are, however, enough moderators out there that things are "covered" most of the time.

These moderators know the difference between noise and substance. It has nothing to do with the parks or personalities. Don't flatter yourself to think it's personal.

I expressed my feelings about SFO months ago and left it at that. You won't find me interjecting negativity in to every SFO thread to get a ride out of the SFO fans. Give me a little credit... I have better things to do.
