Why not peeps putting there hands up??

Why can't the peeps put there hands up? I think it would be really cool and I think we might see it sometime.

The peeps can't do that because the are not programmed to. They are robots, Chris Sawyer doesn't want their hands up, so they don't put their hands up. I think it would be cool too, but than again, it would be cool if there was night time also.

Not so much that they aren't programmed to, but it would mean making twice as many peep graphics. Chris Sawyer would have to make a new peep graphic for every single position that every train car could be in. He probably decided he wouldn't make 2 sets of the almost same thing, so instead of having peeps that have hands up in the station, going up the lift, and rolling down the brakes, just have them sit normally.

But they jump with after the ride if they like it and they put their hand up.

I'm sure if Chris Sawyer can program a 4D coaster, flat rides, and all the other crazy ride animations and things in RCT he could easily animate peeps hands to go up on the height of drops..

It would be cool.. the peeps with a higher perferred intensity rating would put up their hands.. the others would have to gain courage to do it

It is possible to program though! I can think of tons of things that are harder to program, but did make it in the game.

First of all, this is a SIMULATION... it is not REALITY.

Second, even if it were REALITY, it would be a strange REALITY indeed... They can't even figure out how to navigate on a path that is more than 1 block wide. You expect them to be have the brain power to figure out "more fun if I hold my hands up?" (Also... they are not programmed that way).

Third... even if it were REALITY, and even if they did have the brain power to figure out "more fun if I hold my hands up", they are law abiding little creatures... as said above "Please keep arms, legs, and heads in car at all times."

Bottom line... so they just sit there... no big deal!

Geeze, if this bothers some people, I hate to think of the sleepless nights that you must have if you ever consider the following... "When a peep has a balloon and goes on a ride... where does the balloon go while he is riding?"

Actually, SLFAKE, I don't think we're concerned with it being "realistic" as much as having peeps putting their hands up one the ride would improve the overall aesthic quality and make the game more fun to look at. No matter though, because doing such a simple thing would require.. GASP!.. additional sprites to be made and would mean an extra few days of work thus costing them money.. God forbid they put some simple visual extras in.
