Why no more like Beast?

I always thought a Beast style ride would be awsome at Knoebels in the woods where the Pioneere train runs. The only downfall with that is it would ruin the quiet experiance of the train and campground and I'm not sure how far back they actually own that way.

A Beast type would be awsome at Great Adventure though. Back by Nitro.

I read on here some place that Silver Dollar City has alot of room to expand. That would make an awsome ride suing the hillside Wildfire and Buzzsaw Falls sits on.

The Beast is definately a must ride coaster. It's sort of funny, It doesn't have many strong laterals or an abundance of airtime but it is an awsome coaster. Any other coaster that lacks these is usually considered a boring coaster. I guess it's just the speed and the forest that make it awsome. Especially at night!

Signature will be closed today. Sorry for the inconveinance.

Yeah, thats what I said in my post coasterpunk. The Beast is definately a speed oriented ride.

Charles, how is the Boss reminescent of the Beast, I don't get that?

Actually, this site says quite differently...

"We own a site of approximately 2,200 acres, of which approximately 240
acres are currently used for the theme park operations, approximately 45 acres
are used for the water park and approximately 350 adjacent acres are used for
the wildlife safari park. Most of the balance of the site is available for
future development."

"It doesn't have many strong laterals"

What do you call the final double helix? What about the stretch between the 2nd tunnel and prior to the 2nd lift? I think Beast has some of the strongest laterals out there. It has been reduced quite a bit over the years, but the laterals, along with speed and setting are what makes the ride IMO!

juh???

I'm as incredulous as you are Jeffrey... no laterals? We are talking about the Beast, right? The Beast!

Come on fhqwhgads!

I would never like to see another Beast. I 1st road the ride in 1996 at night....I didn't ride it again till October 2001 when I was working on the ride. It was a great ride. Those 2 were like no other rides I have ever been on. I was told "Raven is better and so is Legand at night". I tried and nothing has still topped that Beast ride at night!

Silverwood is using 50 of the 600 acres it owns. A third woodie is planned at some point.
