Why dosen't SFMM have a Superman? Maybe.....

Maybe they are getting a Floorless with the name of Superman: Krypton Coaster? Why not. What do you think SFMM will get for 2001 or 2002
They got Superman: The Escape.....
i think flat rides are going in next year, and they are going to either move flashback or get rid of it. i also heard they are moving colossus somewhere else in the park. as far as 2002, who knows, but i would like to see another hyper, or maybe a hyper-looper? as long as it's b&m i don't care what it is. as far as a floorless, i don't think sfmm would want to have one being that sfmw has one of the best in the world! now, what i think they SHOULD do in 2001 is remove flashback and psyclone (i hate that ride), move colossus over to where psyclone is, retheme both cyclone bay and colossus county fair and make them into colossus bay and then make colossus county fair into a mythical themed land, and give the park some much needed flat rides. then in 2002, introduce another awesome coaster. sorry for the long post, but that's my opinion. peace.

Moving Colossus sounds like more trouble than it's worth. It is one of the (if not THE biggest) dual track woodie in the world. Considering it is not in ANY "top 10" lists, and it aint on the bottom either, so it is doubtful that they will do anything to it. I know that it would not fit where Psyclone currently is.

An additional hyper? I won't deny that a hyper looper would be a good thing, but since Goliath just went in, another hyper sounds unlikely, but you never know until they make official announcements.

I have heared about a new design of a dive machine at 90 degrees, built by Gionavola, will go in there. That could be complete lies, too, for all I know.

I would say remove Psyclone and build a CCI woodie, but that's just my wish.

I know Flashback is closed in the summer because of Hurricane Harbor, but I am unclear on the specifics of why this is. Anyone know for sure?

Gotta ride 'em all!
I really hope they don't get a floorless. The one I've been on just wasn't that exciting at all:(.
Soggy: the most plausible reason that I have heard for closing flashback, is that when it is running, it's very hard for the lifeguards at the adjacent Hurricane Harbor to hear anything. Therefore, in the intrest of safety, they dont run flashback while HH is open
They wont get a new coaster..they just got Golliath.Something with Sf parks..they get new coasters about every two-three years.SFGAdventure is do for one next year.I heard through the grapevine either a hyper like Golliath or another woodie...well see..but their problem is they dont use the room they already have they take away existing rides which sucks.
Colossus was the biggest dual track woodie when its opened, but since then, American Eagle took the records ( for dual track woodies ) for fastest and longest and Monstre for tallest.
