Why doesn't Phantom's Revenge/Steel Phantom have an on-ride-photo?

My best guess is time constraints. You'll remember PR didn't open until well into the season due to some construction problems and complications.

Maybe we'll see one in 2002, along with two-train operation and the actual Phantom? Eh, eh?

Yep, I'm guessing we might see that for next year. Like Lynch said, time constraint was probably the main reason.

I'm sure many improvements will be made to the ride this year including the station decorations, queue improvements, and of course the long-awaited two train operation.

Remember Kennywood's audience. That park relies on a larger proportion of repeat visitors than most other parks of its size and popularity. Honestly, now, how many times would you buy your on-ride photo on Phantom? If they add an on-ride photo, don't count on it lasting more than a season or two.

Still, I was disapointed when I saw that there was no on-ride-photo when I flew all the way out there from So Cali and I couldn't buy a pic of me on the fastest/tallest coaster in the world. Wouldn't you if you flew that far for nothing?

Uhhh, it is not the tallest or fastest.

I will agree with anyone though that it's the greatest! :)
