Why doesn't Cedar Point grease their tracks?

I like the screech of MS on the lift hill turnaround. Call me crazy, but I think it adds character to the ride.

I know that SF Stl takes really good care of the Boss and it one of the best coasters I have ever rode.
Well tonight it rained and after it dried out, Blue Streak was louder than Mean Squeek is on a normal day!

Paramount parks are the only ones I have seen that use grease on their rails, and I don't undstand why. They still screech louder than alot of wooden coasters I have ridden that aren't greased. Hersheypark is a good example. They don't use grease, and they don't have a problem with screeching on any of their woodies. They are just well maintained. When I was at Cedar Point a few weeks ago I thought their woodies seemed maintained just fine. Blue Streak was a great ride.

Hey guys. Sorry about my comments about the bashing of SFMM. I actually meant Six Flags in general, but perhaps that's not appropriate either. It's just that I often see a lot of that type of insinuation on this site. In actuality, I've never ridden a coaster I didn't like, however, I do like some more than others. Anyway, hope the CP woodies get that lube job they need...
