Why does the SF website only mark Kinga Ka as being 418ft tall?

Why does the SF website only mark Kinga Ka as being 418ft tall? Does anyone know the answer to this...is it the typical cheap site they run? Or is there another reason?
Where did you find that information? I am on the Six Flags website right now and see 456 feet. The link is: http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatadventure/Rides/KingdaKa.html
He read it wrong it says that the drop is 418 feet not the height.

-Eric: Major Parks: SFNE(homepark), SFA,SFGADV,CP,BGE,BGA,Kennywood, and Sea World: Track record 65 different coasters ridden #1 is Millennium Force #2 is El Toro and than there are all the others

Ka is 418ft tall its sinking. Sorry I had too.

Thanks,
DMC

No. You didn't.
So then how much is the drop on TTD?

RCDB lists it at 400 feet.

"Heavily medicated for your safety!"

But why do the flags in the station of Kingda Ka claim the ride is 458 ft? heh *** Edited 6/25/2005 9:00:01 PM UTC by ZNitroMan***
Because the height of the structure is 456 ft tall and the drop is 418 ft tall. See the difference?

It is a FACT that The Voyage is the greatest thing on the planet!!
Sure, except they DON'T have the longest drop of any coaster.

Speaking of it not working... again... I just saw a new commercial and they didn't even mention KK, and I know I had seen commercials in the past where it was advertised. Maybe it really won't even be open this year...

So then, if you were on Kingda Ka during a rollback, you'd be going down a longer drop than if you were on it normally.

So any way you slice it Ka is taller, faster, and has a longer drop than Dragster.
And still not open to the public, unlike Top Thrill Dragster.

;)

I think KK does not come to the same height as the launch track on the drop before it goes up the bunny hill also hence the 36 foot height difference but only 18 foot drop difference.

Watch the tram car please....
