Why does sfgam get all this stuff while gadv gets nothing! (as of now)

I cant help but feel a little ripped off....I mean SFGAM gets what, 6 new rides while gadv loses a somewhat major ride?? Come on now!

Hopefully gadv will make an annoncement with some hot new rides or ill be angry.....grrrrrr.....

Lifes not fair......

Don't exagerate now, it's only 5 rides. :)

Just like you said in the last part of your post, how do you know GAdv isn't getting anything? Waaahhh, boo hoo.
Uhhh, wait for their announcement before you get angry and if it's for new bathrooms and an improved employee training program, you're extremely lucky. My *guess* is GAdv will receive something for their anniversary season, but if general improvements are it, that's something I would get excited about. Like you said, you don't know what GAdv is getting yet and SFGAm just announced at a perfect time for them with NoCoasterCon.

Losing a Huss Frisbee isn't bad... We've heard some of the "wild rumors" that claimed a side of The Chiller might be removed or even *gasp*, Viper, one of my personal favorites. ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if GAdv wanted to top a "biggest" ride in the near future... and I'm not necessarily talking about TTD either.

Can somebody say Fanboy?

If you want a real arguement, think about how much SFDL is getting ripped off.

-----------
I mean, that's just sad.

First off, SFNJ is not capable of running all of the flatrides they installed in '99 and the Frisbee is better of at SFGAm where people will actually be riding it.

"Lifes not fair"? Go to rural China and Africa and tell that to those people who have no food or shelter - you're breaking down because your local amusement park hasn't announced new rides yet. How sad.

Don't complain about SFGRADV losing one puny little flat ride, you've got far more rides...& most of them are a bit better than a majority of the rides in most of the SF parks in the area as well.

I don't feel bad about SFGRAM getting some new flats,it's just the mouse that I kinda object to seeing as they just got S:UF in 03... inshort don't feel as though SFGRADV is getting "ripped off" this season when there are certain parks in the chain that have recieved little to nothing since 99 or 01.

In other words, don't complain about how your park is getting stiffed. Let me gripe about my own park getting ripped off.

We could probably do this all night and still be right back where we started. *** Edited 1/18/2004 1:52:45 AM UTC by bigboy***

Counts down till closing of this thread.
Threads like this are pathetic. Plain and simple.....PATHETIC!! As in miserably inadequate!!

Wood - anything else is an imitation

Well, Six Flags is not putting a gun to your head to enter their turnstiles. Plus, it's to early
to speculate. Relax, have some smirnoff ice ;)

Fate is the path of least resistance.

IMO Great Adventure gets enough. There are several smaller and less hyped Six Flags Parks that haven't gotten anything big in years. *** Edited 1/18/2004 2:29:07 AM UTC by Dukeis#1***
While I will miss the Frisbee, all I have to do is think of the rides I've had on a KMG Afterburner/Chance-Morgan Revolution (Hersheypark), and all is forgotten. I think it's high-time that they get that Huss Jump up and running on a full-time basis. Now, that's one extreme ride. While it may "hurt" to lose another spinning ride, it frees up staff to run other rides. Like others have said, I'd rather see all the rides running than watch some of them lie dormant. *** Edited 1/18/2004 2:41:29 AM UTC by Intamin Fan***
I have to admit, I am spoiled with the amusement parks in my area....

I was just exspecting something exciting for GADV's their 30th anniversary....

Its dissapointing, but I think I'll make it through 2004...but the still could get something!!

Fingers crossed.... *** Edited 1/18/2004 2:41:30 AM UTC by swim92688***

We aren't going any further with this one.

Closing.
