Why didn't SFAdv make Nitro bigger?

Where did you get those amount figures from? Did you contact B&M about the price for a 300+ft coaster?

I think that Nitro is a perfect size, i rather have a great 230ft coaster, then a crap 310ft coaster anyday. Nitro in my opinion is the best steel coaster in the world and iam really happy that SFGADV picked B&M to make it, rather then Intamin, first because B&M offers a much smoother ride, also i like the 4 seats across, so you can sit with your friends, i hate having to count to see if we're going on the same train or not.

Uhh...have you ridden an Intamin hyper/giga? Intamin rides are the smoothest on earth, IMO. B&M rides are extremely smooth, but I think MF is the smoothest roller coaster in history. I didn't feel a single bump the entire ride. Just smooth fast fun. I'm really looking forward to riding Nitro next week, and I'm sure it will be an incredible coaster. Maybe better than MF or S:ROS, but there is no way that MF is 'crap,' and Intamin rides are NOT rougher than B&Ms.

I am not complaining about Nitro at all but,The parachute drop tower is 250 ft tall so,they could have at least gone that high rite?

I didnt mean it like that, M.F is a great ride, its just I think that Nitro is a lot better. Nitro is the best coaster in the world then in second is M.F, I.M.O., one thing that i love about Nitro that M.F really doesnt have is air time, i mean M.F has a little but Nitro has it through out the whole ride.

Blink3020, the values aren't necessarily the exact and true values, but they are examples. My point was that Cedar Point rejected B&M's offer because Intamin offered a gigacoaster that were of lower cost.

Coasterr, the information came from a very good friend of mine who is in the industry. I can not disclose the name because of name protection.
