Why are these coasters gone?

I thought OE was pretty bad through the Kamikaze kurve, too.

Thriller/Tornado/Zonga was built to be a travelling coaster, so that's not really a far comparison.

Stealth and Schwartz shuttle loops are the coaster that I can think of that were designed to be permanenet installments, but got moved anyway...

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Of the three older custom Arrow loopers I've ridden, (SFDL Viper, Dragon Mountain, and Loch Ness Monster) each of them provided a reasonably smooth and enjoyable ride, at least in my experience. I also must've had a good ride on Steel Phantom in '98, because I never experienced headbanging.

Schwarzkopf shuttle loops...The most possible fun in 36 seconds.

Whoa,

So are you saying that Buzz Saw Falls is no longer at Islands Of Adventure? (I think that is where I saw it at).

I got a nice picture of it and it was a neat little water ride where it looked like the roof would lift up when a boat would go under.

They're talking about Buzzsaw Falls at Silver Dollar City. You're thinking of Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls.

To Gonchar, and Markieb....

No offense or anything, but, if concepts are subject to catastrophe, why arent any of b&m's concepts out of order? For instance, i dont remember the inverts ever having any problems, i could be wrong though, and they pretty much perfected the hypercoaster, with the trains and support system, which i have heard no instance of problems from.....(other than Fabio :-)) Also, they took vekoma's flyer and made it excellent, with only a few minor setbacks that were fixed quickly, and show no signs of extinction. Other types such as the dive machines also come to mind.

Im just trying to say, that i dont think the reason these coasters are gone is because of new concepts, I believe it is because of the manufacturer.

I've heard several times on these and other boards that Vekoma actually took B&M's flying concept and developed their Flying Dutchman. The same goes for the invert and the SLC.
