Why are there so many sites with photos taken duri

You can't put the hands up on MF? I don't think I could stand NOT putting up the hands, I even did on my first MF ride because I knew I wouldn't be scared for long and would want them up, but to keep my hands down would just eat at my soul!

Same for Hypersonic, which you shouldn't have a problem not taking pictures from because taking a picture from XLC is the last thing you're gonna wanna do, they said they wouldn't launch if they saw the hands up, but as soon as that thing clicks and grabs, I don't think they're stopping you, hands up or not, which I don't know if it could hurt or not(didn't feel like anything, it's harder trying to put 'em up AFTER launching so you have 'em up going up the hill:))?

You shouldn't try to take pictures from everything you ride, you're risking it there. The more you do it, the more oppurtunities you will have to drop your stuff. So doing it in "moderation", and not talking about it are cool, IMO, but I don't like to say I'm cool with it, because as soon as more people do it, I'll be hit with the one camera that the one fool who's dropping thiers drops. Don't ask, don't tell, or something.......
Do remember that some parks in some situations do allow cameras in locations that they might not normally be allowed. Just look at any television special on coasters, and you will see shots from POV cameras obviously bolted on the front of coasters. Also, as previously mentioned, cameras are allowed on coasters at some special events with special safeguards. A few parks even have policies that normally allow small cameras with wrist straps on rides. Don't condemn someone who took an on line photo until you know the circumstances.

Whatever you take on a ride, be certain that you can safely keep it attached to you. This includes, cameras, cell phones, radios, shoes on inverteds, and hats. You wouldn't want to lose them, and you would feel horrible if they injured someone else. Remember the wind on a coaster can reach hurricane velocities, and air time can also launch things. I saw several hats go on Hypersonic today, and I was showered in coins on SROS-SFA this spring on the bunny hops when someone had put their change in their shirt pocket. (Funny not painful)
i bring cameras on coasters all the time. i've takin my camera on dueling dragons, kraken, superman ride of steel(sfdl) and many others.
if you got a stap the chances of the strap breaking are about the same as you flying out of the ride and hitting someone.
