Two. The wooden one at Heide Park is named Colossos. ;)

Coming in 2003-The Spawn Of Magnum!
Arrow loopers are more of a "first generation" of modern steel coasters. It's kind of like Arrow passed the ball on to B&M, Intamin, Morgan, and others.
Speaking of Arrow coasters in general, I remember when Cedar Point's star attractions were Corkscrew and Gemini (well, Gemini is still popular and a favorite of many). I absolutely love these new thrill rides the coaster firms come out with now, but I miss the good old days when things were much simpler.

You're right, I did mean Thorpe Park. I actually went to rcdb.com to find out how to spell "Heide" and found that the Colossus I was looking for was actually at Thorpe Park. I just forgot to change it.

Hmm...... Intamin loopers. You're right. Actually there are really only two in the world, right? (Not counting Schwarzs/B&Ms) Monte Makaya and Colossus. So really they aren't going for them anywhere. I can't figure out a reason though.-----------------

Isnt there an Avalancha that is Monte Makaya's clone? I know there is another Intamin 8-looper besides Makaya.

"Yeah, there is an Intamin 10-looper called Avalanche at some park in Mexico"
Um, no. Having just been to the only two parks in Mexico that could support such a coaster I can tell you that it does not exist in that country.

Sig under construction!
Avalancha is in Guatemala.
The first loop of Tennesse Tornado looks like a graceful moment when time almost stands still. Two of the big downfalls of the other arrow loopers, those tight radius loops that whip you neck back as you go through them, and their unpadded seats. Couple this with horrible transitions like Shockwave, its easy to see why these rides have such a bad reputation.

I actually enjoy the cookie cutter loops that Arrow had on all of their original loopers. When I finally learned to keep my head against the head-rest, they became one of my favorite elements. When I first started riding rides like Vortex at Paramount's Kings Island and Corkscrew at Cedar Point, I would stick my head in front of the restraints to keep headbanging to a minimum. This would would also push my head down as the train went through the vertical loops. Now, I keep my head up, and the vertical loops are smooth and intense
