Who's winning the Bay Area: SFMW or PGA?

Well, the theme park between SFMW and PGA is well under way. It seems to me that PGA is winning the people's favor, but I believe SFMW will gain the people's favor with the opening of V2 in the next couple of weeks. So far in terms of family flavor, PGA is winning. In terms of thrill ride flavor, SFMW is winning. It's a real dead, but who do you think will come out on top? I don't know

SFMW and PGA- two parks battling for the title of "Best in the Bay"
I'm not sure, because I've never been to either of the parks. That will change this summer. ;)

PGA could easily take SFMW out if they wanted but it's changing fast! Belive it or Not V2 is No cal's highest and fastest coaster, and people in the vally [ not bay area but close] are strartig to go to SFMW. SFMW's got a horrid atmoshpere layout, theming and service. I still love the park. PGA was here first and is now a great park SFMW is too, but the animals at SFMW don't do as much for me as they did when it was animal alone.

PGA #1
SFMW is winning I think in terms of attendance and coasters. Medusa and Roar are only two coasters, but they both beat everything at PGA, hands down imho. Now V2 will open soon and will be another world class addition to the park. PGA has a great atmosphere no doubt about it, but their coasters are too short and not very thrilling, save for Stealth and Top Gun. I've always loved PGA, but SFMW has won me over with it's coasters and animal shows, and also their generosity in hosting my wedding on Medusa on March 31st. SFMW is becoming THE thrill destination in Nor Cal, and I can't wait for this competition to really heat up. It's only gonna make it better for us! Peace. :)

Tough call. PGA has a large coaster count, but like Coasterman J pointed out, they all suffer from the "it's too short" problem, except for Grizzly which ranked dead last on Mitch Hawker's 2000 woodie poll. SFMW has HUGE potential, and once V2 opens up, will have 3 fantastic coasters, and 3 OK ones. Medusa and Roar are good enough, in my book, to give SFMW my vote. Stealth & Top Gun rock, but not as much as Medusa & Roar.
