You're missing out! You need to embrace Christ, Moosh. Oh yeah, I forgot. It's not the gay weekend issue. It's the age. They aren't offering an old christians weekend, right? ;)

I work for a contemporary Christian church but I don't recognize any of the artists names. But, since I'm part of the Praise & Worship staff, I'll have to see if we have any of the CD's in our library.

My dream bill would include The David Crowder Band, Tim Hughes, and Telecast (even though they stole riffs from Coldplay).

Will "Faith Plus One" be playing?

I love their lead singer! *** Edited 3/18/2005 5:57:25 AM UTC by CPrulezohio***

That had to be the funniest South Park episode I've ever seen. I can't tell you how many CD covers/inserts I've seen where some people in the band are just looking in "seemingly" random directions. When Token knocked out the funky bass line without ever playing before, I died. That episode was so wrong in so many ways, but I know a lot of Christians who found it funny anyway (even though they thought the ending pushed it a little too far). *** Edited 3/18/2005 3:15:24 PM UTC by Intamin Fan***

Part of the fun of being a Christian is being a human being. :)

I don't recognize any of those bands, either. I've seen David Crowder twice, he's awesome. Switchfoot is the band I want to see.

If you're a Christian, you've got to have a sense of humor about it, or else you'll explode with rage. Christians are the only group it's OK to make fun of in popular media anymore.

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
Tait is from DC Talk in case your wondering, have heard Day of Fire on the radio but not the other band.

Ok, I can kind of see if nobody has heard of Starfield. But Tait? Nobody has heard of Tait? I thought they are fairly well known in Christian music circles. I guess I was wrong! ;)
You know, when everyone is on a coaster... all things are equal... everyone is experiencing the same rush, going through the same emotions.. screaming together, laughing together etc etc etc.

Guess that is what I like about them... for those few minutes there are no judgements, or bias against one's beliefs or preferences.

If only more places were like that.

Have a fun day at the park when you go. SDC is a great place, and make sure you take the cave tour.

Nasai: i don't think i've ever seen the word 'being' used three times before in the same sentence. Good one.
Being 42, i guess that young part leaves me out too. Great, now the Christians are getting like the society in Logans Run... too old, you die now... lol :)

Would making a taint joke here be going too far?
