Who's been to Prater Park

Am due to visit Vienna in the spring. Just wondered who's visited Prater Park and any advice/info/tips etc. Many thanks.

189 coasters ridden (but it's still only early)

I was supposed to go on an Orchestra Trip for New Years Eve (burr), but the trip was postponed.
I went there in 2000. All I got to ride was the ferris wheel, the Top Spin and Evolution, though. It was pretty fun, but not as fun as the Music Fest that was in Vienna at the time.

I was there back in '90, so there really was nothing there at the time coasterwise... But its a park soo... have fun!
I've never actually been there, but I've been told you need a lot of many if you want to ride all of the Prater highlights. It's a rather expenisve permanent fair, with prices lavishly exciding normal fair fees.

Dutch Coastin' :: European coasters, thrills and theming!

According to the latest issue of First Drop magazine, The Prater has installed a Zamperla Flying Coaster. There are a variety of other coasters but nothing special. What is special is the selection of flat rides, including what is imo the sickest spin ride ever... the initially innocuous looking 'Extacy'.

In short, I thought the park was awesome! Don't take that as given though, everyone likes different things in parks. Have fun!

Well.. there's a compendium of "small" coasters on the Prater... 2 wild mice, 1 Schwarzkopf type non-inverter with short trains, and ... is that one coaster with the many helixes in the corner a Togo? Oh.. and I almost forgot the ubiquitous VekomaBoomerang, that's also around.
They do have insane flat rides, and some of them look like a menace to your healthybones.
My favourite even though that might be a guilty pleasure, are the mirror- and glass labyrinths that they have there.
The big old famous ferris wheel is kind of boring if you ask me...
