Who would've wanted to ride the Crystal Beach Cycl
...Crystal Beach Cyclone. This infamous coaster was said to be the most intense ever. It has been shown and mentioned on the Discovery specials all the time. There was a nurse station at the station because it was so intense! It operated from 1926 until 1948 when Herb Schmeck overhauled it made it into the original Comet. That Comet was dismantled in the 70's and then in 1994 the Lakeside Park in New York bought it and put it back together.

This is a no brainer! We are coaster enthusiasts are we not? I haven't met an enthusiast yet who wouldn't want to take a ride on this contraption...or it's siblings. Speaking of which, I just found out that my grandpa was lucky enough to take rides on the Cyclone Racer in Long Beach when he was knee high to a grasshopper.

I think everyone is dying to see someonetry to resdesign this thing. We all know GCI or CCI could do a wicked job making a replica of this classic ride. I think that this could also make a great steel coaster. Another classsic coaster, lost in time.

What a shame. I would've LOVED to ridden this! And the nurse, after a year or so, and a re-tracking of the CBC, she at the exit for effect only.
