In chatting with Fred Bolingbroke at IAAPA, he mentioned something kind of interesting to me. It's possible to build one of these rides all in the same plane, so you could put it on a narrow strip of land. Interesting idea!

Not necessarily. The basic design could stay the same and you could just change the setup of all of the supports.

A 'Runaway Car' Ride (Mine Train from the defunct Opryland)
An Enclosed Dark Coaster (Unknown)
A Stand-Up Coaster (140' tall, 3,000' long)
A 200' Long Coaster (Unknown)
Also, there's a 120' tall Ferris Wheel and Huss Top Spin which may be installed within the next couple seasons.
