I really can see it here at Geauga Lake. Our coaster collection is very unique as it is, it would be nice to have it. Plus, Even though they would not put it up for this reason, I would like to see another designer as opposed to Arrow or Intamin in the northern Ohio area. But beggers can't be choosers.

IF SFKK ever does a hyper (and its doubtful due to the airport) they will most likely go with Intamin or B&M. Though I'd rather see Morgan or Arrow down there

We can pretty much rule out Fiesta or Astroworld, with Six Flags Over Texas getting Titan (which is NOT prehistoric themed, despite the somewhat mythological name. The station hasn't been built yet, but it's supposed to have a Southwestern flavor to it).

A lot of money is going to be spent on SFWOA, but they've listed so many other improvements already that they want to do there, I doubt they'll be building a $12 million coaster next year as well.

For those of you who mentioned SFKK getting a hyper coaster need to remember that SFKK is next to an international airport. They have a hieght resrtiction because the airliners fly real low when they take off.

As for the qusetion, I would like to see PKI get one, maybe in 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005. (WHEW!!:))

Can you take me higher? (CREED)
Maybe some sort of launch coaster would be a better fit for SFKK.

What about Elitch's Gardens? When the hell are they going to get ANYTHING new? I'm not from Denver, but, geez, they've gotten like one new ride since Premier converted it into a Six Flags park. Put money where it's due, Premier.

maybe the funds for the park arent good so they are afraid to put 25 million into it if the park isnt doing well, who knows.

I say SWoA because I see them moving towards the east and probably SFWoA will get a hyper for their next coaster.
Kentucky Kingdom and Elitch Gardens are the two least profitable Six Flags branded parks out there, while building new attractions would surely boost their low attendance, it's just not cost justifiable for Premiere to build something really expensive there. SFMM and SFOT are two of the more profitable parks, thus the large expenditures. (SFWOA is a special case, though SFO wasn't one of the higher attended parks, Six Flags is trying to create a flagship destination.)

Before someone tries to go lump Astroworld here with SFKK and SFEG, SFAW's profitability is about in the middle of the pack, not at the bottom like these two parks.

My guess is stateside that Six Flags Over Georgia is the next likely candidate to receive a hypercoaster, with Six Flags St. Louis in the running. SFOG does good business, their last big coaster was 1999's stand-up, in 2001 they're just getting a big boomerang.

Intaminrocks :
This is From an experienced Giovanola Rider. YOU DONT WANT ONE OF THESE.
1. They Break down alot
2.The Brakes arent very good
3.You wat a Intamin or B&M Hyper trust me
4.They arent reliable at all!!!

1. Wrong
2. Wrong
3. All hypers ROCK!
4. Wrong

I have been to SFMM 6 times since Goliath opened, every day I was there, Goliath did not break down even once. (at least not to the point that they cleared the queue) What exactly is wrong with the brakes? They work don't they. I was there yesterday, it was running 3 trains, all day, without ever shutting down.

If you have better records of why Giovanolas are unreliable, I would love to hear them. BTW, ALL coasters have downtime, that's a fact of coaster life. Goliath did not have excessive downtime, I thought Intamins were always slammed for downtime and late openings?

Bottom line, if you are not having fun on Goliath, you don't like roller coasters. Big G is an A+ ride in every aspect.

I think it will go to SFWoA aswell. It would fit in nicely with that volcano thing that the park is building included in its 5 yr plan. It would probably have a jungle theme.
Please send it to SFEG. Remember, you can build over rides too.

SFEG-*New For 2001* Carnival Of Chaos Batman Stunt Show. Wow.
Note about SFKK:

I would not have a problem with them builiding a Chang sized hyper, and then digging some tunnels to get a good, 200ft+ drop. No, i would have no problem with that at all. Also, they have plenty of space. Don't worry about it.

Don't touch the watch.
Responding to rollercoastercrazy, Gotham City is right by where they are going to build the bridge. If they built a hyper back there with a jungle theme, it could be Poison Ivy themed.
That would be amazing to have a major female DC character ride, and not just a kiddie coaster like the existing Poison Ivy ride.
Soggy, i got 2 words for you:

Wild Thing.

Actually, I believe SFOT will recieve the next one, Opening in about three weeks or so. heh :)
I agree with Staticman00.
I think that Premier will build like 3-4 new coasters at once there just like they did at SFWOA.

What about Wild Thing? It is not Giovanola or Intamin, it is a DH Morgan. Sorry if I missed the reference somewhere, but I don't exactly see what you mean.

I wish Indiana beach would get a hyper coaster. Even though they don't have much room I can still hope. Maybe It will be a great next few years for the beach and they will try and surprise us all.
