Who will be the next to be bought out

With sixflags on a park spree who will be the next park to be bought out by them. I have no clue but I do have the feeling that if six flags has a good year they are not going to stop buy out littler parks until they Have global amusement domination :) . I'm Hoping funspot indiana or they will rebuild old indiana funpark. I think funspot because they have a lot of land it is just the owner lacked the resources to build new rides and therefore the park went basically unknown. OR do you think the next few years will bring imrovements to the parks that badly need

My hope is that they will focus on the parks that they already have. They should go about rebranding those few parks they have but haven't yet renamed. This will strengthen the company that I think is beginning to spread itself a little thin.
Dont know about six flags, but Kings Island will be bought out here soon by Paramount. Wait...... Already happened!? Where am I???!!!???

I don't want any more Six Flags parks for awhile! There are too many coasters as it is named SUPERMAN and BATMAN...
ugg... and paramount has Top Gun and Vortex!

Thats the one thing about those big chains are. The way the coasters are themed to liscences. Even Cp has Woodstock Express.. -sigh-

Six Flags recently bought La Ronde in Canada, a park in Seattle, Holland, Geauga Lake, etc. I think its time too slow down!!!

The K word is knoebels. I have heard the silly rumors before about them and six flags and I don't think that would happen, but you never know....

I agree... SF is getting too big to keep up with all their parks (Elitch, nuff said). I'd like to see them slow down and really put some effort into upgrading their lesser parks and making them worthy of the SF name. But I doubt that will happen because SF seems all about the bottom line and they could make more $$ by gobbling up more parks.

I wouldn't be surprised if they buy Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. I'm not saying I expect that, but the park is in a very sparse area as far as coasters and with the addition of Wildfire it's actually a semi-major park now. I really hope they don't because I'm afraid it would become another Elitch.
I'm not sure SF would buy Coney in Cincy. Not a whole lot of land and too prone to flooding. I think if they were really interested in a park in the Cincinnati area (which I doubt because of PKI), they would have MAYBE considered Americana - but didn't.
Why would SF even consider buying anywhere near Cincinnati when you have SFKK about two hours away?

I thought I read that SF was going to start slowing down in order to regain some cash flow. I still hope that they stop neglecting some of their smaller parks and help bring them up the level of their bigger properties.

I wish somebody would buy Jazzland!

I think in the future,, which will take some time, I honestly think Six Flags is gonna buy Cedar Point, they are gonna keep buyin so it can stay the best next to Disney. Has any other parks? well, people heard what they used to say?? when the commercial for my park , SFGA,, used to be on, it would say,, SFGA,, bigger than Disneyland,, does anyone else know what im talking about?? or heard it when other sf park commercials were on?

AMERICAN EAGLE!! (RED TRAIN)BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember the McDonald's promotion back in the mid 90's where they had Six Flags tickets on the bags as well as a map of where the parks were located. And they also said that they were bigger than Disneyland.

Six Flags is not going to buy Cedar Point. They couldn't afford the park, it's in a market where they already own another park and frankly there would be no advantage for Cedar Fair ever to sell.

Sorry but I think there is no way SF would buy CP. And if they did it would destroy the CP name. They would probably give it a crap name like Six Flags Erie Way or something terrible sounding. Maybe Americana, is there any word on it?

SF would not buy Americana, Cedar Point, Silver Dollar City, Coney Island, or Knoeble's because they have parks two hours away or less.

I think Michigan's Adventure might be someplace they'd look at. Maybe branding their name on Great Escape. I love the name Six Flags Great Escape. Just my $.02.
