Who will be attending the Whizzer's Last Day?

I know there is the meeting calendar but some people don't pay attention to it. So who all will be at SFGAM on August 11 for the last day of the Whizzer? I will be there wearing my Millennium Force cap so please feel free to say hi. I am hoping to get some final laps on the Whizzer and hopefully try for the last GP train ever. I hope to see you all there.

Ill be there and will also try to get on Whizzers last GP train. Ill probally be wearing either my Deja Vu shirt or Cedar Point shirt. But I think alot of people will be doing that also, so im guessing its going to be pretty hard to get on the last GP train.

I'll miss it by one week! Oh well. I'll try to forget about it and enjoy my first trip to SFGAm.

I went today and it closed right before i got on because of the rain. I waited a total of 1 hour and 45 min. A supervisor told me that he heard that the Whizzer will be re-located, not scrapped. YAY! I will try to be there on the 11th, if not then, sooner. This supervisor was awesome and I got to sit in a car and get my picture taken, just incase i don't get back to ride again.

I'll be at the park all day on the 11th. Whether or not I will ride Whizzer exclusively is up for grabs, but I WILL ride it many times and try to be on the last train...

I'll be there as well, probably power-riding Whizzer and taking a few "Bull Breaks". I'm coming straight from my Cedar Point/SFWoA trip, so I'll probably arrive noonish, but I'll stay 'till they make me leave.

I know I can't be there. So I went last Thursday.

I told some people I met at the park I drove from Detroit, on my only day off, just to ride Whizzer before it closed.

They thought I was crazy.

They are probably right.

I'm going to be there on the 7th and the 8th... but that certainly doesn't rule out the 11th!

As someone who's been to SFGAm way too much in the past few weeks, I can say, in all truthfulness, I will not attend next weekend for one reason.

Everyone else in the world will.

As much as I love nostalgia (and, for the most part, the Whizzer), that's just not something I want to have to put up with.

Of course, I'm not as crazy as most of you, so that explains it. :) Anyone who is there, more power to you. You're a better person than I.
