Boy I am sure glad you do. I don't know if I could have lived without knowing that information!
I've seen some sad posts in my time, but this one takes the cake. In before close. (I've always wanted to do that!)

Unfortunately I still do. Every arcade in my area has upgraded to Extreme (thanks a lot Konami for not releasing a new arcade mix in Japan since Extreme in 2002! Since all Extreme machines in the US are Japanese mixes). I used to have access to 5th Mix, 4th Mix +, 6th Mix (Max), Max 2 etc. but now all that's around is Extreme.

I still play the Japanese PS2 version of Extreme at home from time to time, but I mostly play the Japanese PS2 version of Max and 3rd Mix (Japanese PS1) *** Edited 1/8/2006 8:48:43 PM UTC by YoshiFan***

One of the joys of living in Europe... my local machines are all Euromix 1 or 2. Sigh.

At least they did release Dancing Stage Fusion in Europe which looks like it may be the last DDR arcade mix for a while.
It could be worse... you could lose all your Extremes to In the Groove. At least Extreme is the best mix and has some lasting play value, unlike ITG, which gets really old, really fast.

Most of my local arcades have Extreme, but only one is in good shape. That arcade also had a 4th+ mix, but no one ever plays it. Another local arcade replaced its 5th mix with ITG - bleh. 5th mix is great. 6th and 7th mix are good but they get old quickly as well.
