Who is Werner Stengel?

I've heard the name 'Werner Stengel' used many times on RRC, as well as other topics, can anyone tell me who he is?

He's a rollercoaster designing genius, who's worked on many projects with other coaster firms, like RCCA, B&M, etc. There's an editorial about him here:

Like what was said above, Werner Stengel is the master of fantastic coaster designs. Many B & M's were designed by Stengel. He has designed for B&M, Intamin, Schwarzkopf, almost all of the major steel coaster companies.

Mindbender...Can you hear the Riddler chuckling?

When I saw this thread I was going to post, "He's is a roller coaster designer genius!" But I was beaten to it.

He designed 3 of the best coasters of 2000--Millennium Force, Goliath, and Son of Beast.

Wow...I didn't know he did Mindbender. Must have worked with (or for) Anton. What a coaster--my legs are still bruised from that April 20th ride! Front seat air all the way!

Bolliger & Mabillard, Giovanola, Mack, Maurer Söhne, Intamin, Premier Rides, Roller Coaster Corp. of America, Vekoma and Zierer Are All Companies Mr.Stengel Designed For. As for MIndbender @ SFoG, it was built by Schwarzkopf, Designed by Stengel, and co-designed by Intamin. So, I guess you could say Mindbender is a Intamin design.
