Who is the nasty Ohio indoor water park?

Yep your correct! Spoke to him a couple of months back. Not sure if he knew what he was getting into however they may be speaking of Someone else as he is the head of marketing.

This place has been cursed since Scott Emerson built it and ripped Emerson electric, their pension plan, the contractors and the Maui sands workers off. He had huuuge plans, many which sounded great and would've put Maui in direct competition with the big 2, however he didn't have the money to do it and he knew it. Hence the fraud.

The convention space they refer to is actually the old holidome section and was to have a giant mountain with red foam lava, cabanas, 2 bars, a lazy river and a surf rider... sadly the surf rider was the only thing built and it was removed while the place sat empty for close to 5 years.

The new owner of ft rapids is holding off on opening as he was to build an indoor soccer park but the land was sold without him knowing to a rehab and mental facility which is being built now.

So his grand ideas are dead and he's left with a waterpark that could only sell groupons to unsuspecting out of towners

The 2 guys that bought it only have experience running liquor stores, dunkin doughnuts and 7-11s. If you look at their website it's clearly from a 1998 site builder and has never changes since I started visiting it over 4 years ago. Their company name is MKSP LLC.

They bought this for a quick buck and didn't realize the work needed. I called them over 15 times in the last 3 years to offer some advice and I would only get a hold of one of their wives. She is very friendly and would talk to me for 30 minutes or so, each time saying she has been telling them to sell it because they don't even want to own it anymore.

Sandusky should've just sold the property to Jamal lewis... hopefully he wouldve done a better job there than what he did with fort crapids

I watched this Hotel Impossible this afternoon. That’s disgusting. Just another reason why I like to pull my camper when we travel whenever possible.

But then again, what do I know?
