Who has the most prolific coaster record?

Corey Jessup, aka rOLLocOASt, has been on over 400...I believe he's got the biggest record at CB.  Joe Campanella,(Legendary) is probably in 2nd, with over 300.

Well, the point I'm trying to make is in the original post. Sorry if I came off brash, but track record really has no say over one's knowledge about coasters or how much they like/dislike coasters.

Plus, watch out for people who stack their track records, just to look cool. That among other things is the reason I really couldn't care less about what a member's track record count's at.

After posting here for a while, you'll begin to figure out whose posts are worth reading and whose posts, well, aren't (regardless of coaster count). Seems like you've already figured that out anyway. ;)

First off, I don't think it matters, but I have ridden a boat load...just check out my track record.  Now, regarding others, I know that Peabody has ridden more than me.  It must be something about us musicians.....:) Lynch made a good point....there is nothing important about a huge track record...it just shows that some of us are well travelled.  I have been very fortunate to have ridden some of the more hard to get to coasters in the world.  I wish I could get to Europe, and hopefully I will soon.  I wish I could brag, but there are others that destroy my record, and they are much more knowledgable to boot.

Right now I'm up to a devestating 32. But as soon as I get a drivers license I'm going to move the count up to 1,429.

Finally! Someone who uses the phrase correctly! Too many people could care less, but appearantly don't.
Thanks for making my day, Lynch.

Well, I love my coasters and I REALLY mean to brag when I say I have been on 193 of them.

Sure you could! Give it the old team try!!
So wait a minute...you mean to say that you aren't jealous (a form a caring) of folks who have had the chance to ride coasters all over the world in the least? I think you can be jealous without being impressed. Ok...useless banter. Sorry...

Homey G......thanks for the support! Actually folks, I am nothing compared to some great park enthusiasts I have met. My record reflects only those ridden in the midwest and southeast. Oh, and a few in Canada! There are still hundreds more to conquer!

And for the record.........the reason I have Thunderbolt counted multiple times is because there are quite a few coasters NOT in the Coasterbuzz database. It's used as a filler. Look at my website to see the complete list!

And I wholeheartedly agree that quality IS better than quantity. If I knew I had to live 27 years of my life before experiencing The Legend, I would have waited.......although SFGAm, CP and KI were hard to pass up as a kid! :) I'd love to hear from otheres who are well above me........gotta be some amazing stories out there!

For me, these last two years (2000 and 2001) have been quite a "fun ride."  I started to go to other parks in 1996 when I first visited CP and PKI...in addition to my normal SFGAm trips.

1997 I went back to CP, but not much else.

1998 started the craziness (got my license ;))...I went to BGT in March to start things off, and made my first trip to SFKK as well as a return visit to PKI.  CP was also in the cards.  But this year was my first trip to the East Coast, just a friend and myself.  We hit MA, CP, Geauga Lake, KW, HP, DP, and SFGAd -- in as many days.  It was an amazing trip, and whet my appetite for bigger and better trips.

Fast forward to 1999 and the next version of the "East Coast trip."  At age 17, we hit CP, SFDL, HP, DP, SFGAd, SFA, PKD, and BGW.  Coaster count went up to about 130.

Then, in 2000 I went to IOA for the first time, and fell in love.  That started the craziest year (at that point) of my life, regarding travelling.  Starting the year at 130, I managed to hit two major road trips.  First was the third East Coast trip including CP, SFO, SFDL, SFNE, LC, SFGAd, DP, HP, and KW.  No more than two weeks after, another friend and I went to what we called our "FLA 2K" trip.  Parks on that trip were SFKK, Visionland, SFoG, Wild Adv, BGT, Sea World Orlando, IoA, USF, Paramount's Carowinds, and PKI.  With a few more random side trips, my count ended at 212 coasters for the 2000 season.  Way more than I ever expected to hit.

This year, 2001, started off very well.  I went to California and did 9 parks over there (PGA, SFMW, SCBB, KBF, Adventure City, Scandia, SFMM, DCA, DLand).  Then in May I did another 7 day long trip to Texas, including SFoT, SFFT, SWT, SFAW, Sandy Lake Park, Frontier City, Bell's, and SDC) and in June, did the biggest East Coast trip yet (DP, SFA, BGW, PKD, Morey's Piers, Steel Pier, SFGAd, LC, SFNE, SFWoA, and CP).  Other trips included the Canada and surrounding areas (PCW, Marineland, MFI, CLP, Waldameer, SFDL, etc) and more trips to "local" parks.  As of right now 329 is the number...however, next week is Vegas, Knoebles, and Lakemont Park -- all of which I've never been to. Add in SFoG's Deja Vu (going two days after PPP) and SFGAm's Deja Vu (heh, whenever that will open) and I'll be at 344 total for this year!  And that's where I'll stand until December!

Dang, now that I've talked long enough, let's hear some of your summer experiences.  Thanks for letting me share mine!

Nitro, Legend, and IOA. Is there anything better?

Absolutely amazing man.  I can't believe that at such a young age (no offense of course) you have conquered that many coasters.  I have equal amounts of jealousy and admiration.  Did you drive to all these places?  I hope your parents are quite wealthy, or you must have a heck of a job.  :-)

I rode "X" and never went upside down.

yeah the best trip I did was two summers ago, I planned a three week coaster excursion. Headed out with my whole family from boston and drove all the way to Chicago. We ended up going to almost every park along the route including SFWoa,CP,PKI, dorney, Hershey park, Kennywood, Knoebels, Lake compounce, SFGam, SFGav. It was a most excellent trip and definitely helped to foster even more coaster enthusiam from my my family and me. i about to pick up my license but i cannot wait till i plan a huge trip with a bunch of my friends. i think we might just drive across the US, going to parks and just chillin.
I'll get to 150 at PPP, but I know I've lost some I rode as a kid.  I'd have to agree with some others here and say that there are some coasters (CCI's in particular, Raven, GR to name a couple of my personal favorites) that I could ride 1000 circuits and still prefer another one over going on a "different" coaster just to add one to my "count"...

Real coaster riding isn't about how has the best track record or adding a another coaster to your list. It is about experiencing the many different types of coaster sensations and when people just ride so to add another coaster, then they are not fully apreciating their coaster experience.
HMM, I have been on alot of coasters in IL, IN, WI, MN, Cedar Point, both Disneys, and soo many more. I can't count right now and yes i know i need to update my track record that include some older rides that were at SFGam . But i have had about 783 rides on differant coasters, though living not too far from a Six Flags and having a season pass is a great advantage.

I may be from IL, but i sure can't get enough of the FORCE. MF!!!

I have more then alot of you ( not to sound smart ) but there are probably people with more then me.
It really "frosts my cookies" when I read reports of people like Joe and Rob V who have been travelling to all these different parks, and they are barely old enough to vote let alone relax with an alcoholic beverage! (but I'll get over it ;))

I'm somewhere near 140, and dont expect to go much over 180 unless I go overseas. I'm not a "count whore" either so I wont be going to Jeepers to "pad the stats". Actually, I'd be content to just ride the ones I've ridden over again. Most of them are pretty cool.
