Who do you go with to amusement parks?

I was just wondering with all the enthusiests around here, do you go with friends? Girl/Boyfriends? Family? Cousins? Alone?

I usually go with my parents and my brother and then I usually bring along a friend or 2 if we are going to Darien Lake.

I brought my cousin this summer to Cedar Point, which he loved.

How about you?

If you want to be happy for a day go to Cedar Point.

If you want to be happy for a lifetime help other people.

My daughters and if we're close to home their friends.

Family - be it siblings, parents, or significant other, although I haven't gotten her to as many parks as I have my family over 25 years or so. (I have a picture of my dad and I in the front seat of Jr. Gemini when I was 3 - not long after it opened)

Usually I go with my enthusiast friends, my girlfriend, or my Dad likes to go sometimes. I am working on getting my cousin on a coaster and if I can then he will be going with me to many amusement parks. So there are a variety of people that I go with.

I usually go with my friends and my boyfriend.

When I was in high school and college, I would go with my closest friend Ryan, who I grew up with. He started going to med school in Clearwater several years ago, and the last time we were able to go to a park together was in 2000 when I made a trip to Florida--we visited IoA and BGT (and then I went solo to SFoG on the way back to Virginia :) )

Every so often I can get my brothers or some friends to go to either of my homeparks (SFA and PKD), but now my faithful girlfriend Liz is my partner in crime. She's not as obsessed with coasters as I, but she definitely enjoys travelling to new places and adding to her not-too-shabby track record (right now at 64).

I always bring a friend with me when I go with my family so I have someone to ride with. Hopefully this year I can go to some of the more distant parks from my home with just my friends.

I'll go with just about anybody; whoever is around. Even if it's friends who are afraid of coasters, I can always find a way to have fun at the park. If I can't find anyone to go with, I have no problems going by myself. It's interesting meeting new people on rides. Though sometimes it's a pain to snag a partner to ride Kennywood's Thunderbolt.
I usually bring some of my fellow enthousiasts allong, or some close friends. :) Occasionally, I go on a meeting of a Dutch coasterclub.

Alone or with people. Either way I just like to ride the rides. There maybe a lot of enthusiasts around but not allways. So for me it doesn't matter. I prefer alone because most people don't like to ride as much or as many times as I like to ride the coasters. See ya.

Sometimes I'll pick up a few enthusiasts but normally it's my girlfriend and a few others.

My dad and I try to go on a trip and hit atleast one park I've never been to every year.

I usually go alone these days and will meet up with people there.. SO I can leave if I feel the need or fall out of the moment.

In the past my "park-pals" have included, girfriends, ex-wife (Wife at the time), best friend, cousin, daughter (the exception to this day to the alone statement) and a few other choice female friends..

My husband has accompanied me to some events, although he'll take breaks while I ride some of the coasters alone or with other enthusiasts. My son is generally my CP partner through most of the season.

I have gone to a few events alone, but generally hook up with other enthusiasts while at parks, so I'm not really "alone".

Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends, but mostly with my 7 year old coaster enthusiast daughter. :)

I usualy go with my girl friend and or other friends. It's nice since we are all CP season pass holders. Once in a great while I'll go by myself, but only when I want to power ride on something *cough* Magnum *cough*. Once in a while I'll go with my parents sometimes, especialy to places like Kennywood (which my mom likes even though she can't ride coasters), and Indiana Beach.

I go with my partner. He enjoyed riding, but was not what you would call and enthusiast. Well, that changed pretty quick. We took a trip to visit my best friend, who lives in Ft Wayne IN. We went to SFKK, CP, IB, and HW. That trip convinced him that coasters are a good thing to be enthusiastic about.

Yesterday I was looking at pictures of the Raven from joyrides.com when he came up behind me, took one look at the lake turnaround and said "Hey cool, The Raven!"

It's mostly just me and my 60yr old mom. Everyone else is always busy. She's the only person I know who likes to ride like me. She even did 18 straight rides on Superman at Darien Lake, yay, Go Mom!

Dang! I've only ridden 163 coasters.

My wife is a good sport...she's even been to SRM with me (and loved it!). We went to 11 parks together last year, but I think she's a tad burned out on parks, so I may start recruiting new enthusiasses.
