Who all went on X?

Who all went on X before it closed? You know it is a slight possibility that you who have rode it are the last to do so.
I went on it in April.

"enough is enough"-?

I went on it in January during the preview.c
Thankfully, SFMM held those preview days. I was able to get there for 2 preview days, plus a photo/video shoot, for 43 total rides.

It's nutty reading about 5 hour waits, when the preview folks could ride once, then ride again, waiting for 0-2 cycles between rides.

It's probably worth a long wait though. It's more of a 'life experience' (like skydiving, perhaps) than a mere coaster ride. Hope it gets running again!

I firmly believe that X will open soon. I am betting my vacation on the hopes anyway. If not, well KBF, SFMM, SFMW, DCA, and anything else on my trip (perhaps the Stratosphere) will most certainly do. The fact that I get to hit Xcelerator is a sweet spot!

I rode on it in February when I was in California on business. I have to say that it's the most unique ride I have ever been on. The only way to describe it is mind boggling. You really have no idea where you are or what you're doing. Especially the first time you ride. I certainly hope it reopens in the near future. I live in Illinois and would definitely make another trip out there just to ride X and Xcelerator. It would be ashame if it never opened up to another rider. I have a good feeling that it will be open by the end of the month however. Tye

Enough with the gloom and doom. They're not going to tear down the ride.

I'm pretty sure that they're not going to tear down the ride. It's such a great and fun experience and I really hope that everybody gets a chance to ride it. But I personally like Xcelerator better.
I was a week away from riding it. Went to coastercon and never got to ride it. Hopefully I'll get to go back sometime in the future. I loved SoCal so I probably will.

Hey Tyemeister,

Want a traveling buddy? I would love to go to Cal. As of right now I will probably go next year to visit a fraternity bro. But if anyone is going beforehand, I would love to!

Wish I had ridden X already! Hope it gets fixed.

Formally known as Millenium Force29, Alpengiest is the best!

I rode it on the first preview day, media day, and some other days.

I rode it 5 times, all on Media Day. Those 5 minute waits that I had sure sounded nice compared to the 5 hour waits that came later.

I am sure that within a few weeks X will be back in action. I do however expect those 5 hour lines to return as well. ;)

I was fortunate enough to go on it 3 times in feb.

so a lot of people are saying it will open soon...when is soon? Is it possible for X to open sometime next week...when I'm in so cal? Personally, I doubt it.
I rode it once on Spring Break in March. I waited about 2.5 hours. X was fun, but nothing I would wait that long to ride again. I hope I can ride it some more in the future (with much shorter lines of course) so I can make a better judgement of the ride. One thing I didn't like was that my long legs kept smacking the bottom of the seat--need some padding down there. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable experience. The restraints were swell.

I rode X February 18, 2002 at about 6:30 in the evening.

It was about a 4 hour wait WITH my FastLane Pass.

They're not going to tear down the ride.

i bet people said the same about the bat!

I rode it in February, and it's rad, dope, tight, the sh*t, awesome, tubular, etc, etc..

"drop rides, not bombs."

My older brother and I rode it back in March. Luckily, we got 2 rides on it, one time when it started to rain.
