Whizzer doing a fireworks display.

Oh, I know its not uncommon. As I stated above, I am used to seeing small sparks near the wheels. This last Saturday, the trains were sparking alot. It kind of looked like someone was welding with the sparks actually dropping under the train.

Bottomline: It was more excessive than normal.

IT could be that the electric connection on the trains may be wearing out and needs replaced. I'm preaty sure that it wears down from time to time.

Yes, Zinger at WOF did this also. It sparked frequently, but more so when a motor had been replaced in the train. Our maintanence crew had to replace/rebuild several the year I worked on Zinger. Wetness seems to help as well. Plus, with the ride only open weekends, it allows rust to begin to form on the power rail.

Question for anyone here who currently works Whizzer or has in the past, Does it have a presence button? Also, do you have to manually turn on the power rail?

Waiting for the CP announcement to be made so that about 1000+ posts will be made complaining about it.
